Freda Baer's Obituary
Pembroke Pines, FL- Freda Baer, died July 16, 2016 under Hospice care near her longtime home at Century Village. Born in Fayetteville, N.C. in 1927, she was predeceased by her husbands Samuel Baer and Alvin Kraft. She is survived by her brother Bert Fleishman, daughters Karen Kraft Bader (Sterling), Roxanne Kraft Weiss (Stuart), and son Edwin Kraft (Reenie). Also surviving are granddaughters Erin Weiss Kaya (Tufan Kaya), Brooke Weiss (Jacob Soto) and grandchildren Alex and Sean Kraft and great grandchildren Asa, Eaden and Melis. She was predeceased by her sister Sylvia Solomon. She was a devoted and hard working wife, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Baer was a longtime entrepreneur in business with both of her husbands. Before moving to Pembroke Pines, FL in 1996, she lived in the Washington, D.C. area, North Miami Beach, Dunn, N.C., Myrtle Beach, S.C. and again in Fayetteville, N.C. Mrs. Baer was a friendly, caring and outgoing person who made a positive impact on every person she met. Deepest appreciation to her beloved and devoted caregiver Pauline Alberga. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Lung Society and Vitas Hospice of Broward County.
