Frederick Gordon Corman's Obituary
Frederick Gordon Corman (95) of Coral Gables passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024. Frederick, also known as Fred or Freddie was born April 25, 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was passionate about playing golf, cards with the “Poker Pals” in the Palace, and loved listening to Frank Sinatra, otherwise known as Baby Blue Eyes.
Fred is survived by his loving companion Vida Berkowitz, daughters, Dena (Ronnie), Shellie, Cindy, Jodi, Susan, and his son Andrew (Sharon). He especially loved spending time with his 10 grandchildren Brett, Kristen, Lauren, Lisa, Jessica, Jonathan, Brandon, Haley, Ryan, and Justin.
Fred grew up in Philadelphia and after high school joined the Navy. In 1956 he moved to Miami and found his calling selling automobiles to friends and family.
A small celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 10th at 6 PM in the Palace of Coral Gables, 1 Andalusia Avenue, Coral Gables, Florida, second floor.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory to the American Cancer Society or Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW.
