Gail Wyman Krasnow's Obituary
Gail Wyman Krasnow, age 85, passed away on May 29, 2023, following a brief illness. She is survived by her devoted son, Neil Krasnow, her loving brother, Owen Wyman, her nephews, her niece, her many great nieces, and her great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Hyman and Minnie (Posner) Wyman, her husband, Gerald Krasnow, and their younger son, Michael Krasnow. Gail was raised in the Dorchester section of Boston and in Newton, Massachusetts, where she was a graduate of Newton High School and the Boston University School of Nursing. After graduation, she went on to become the Head Nurse at the Northeastern University.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gail Wyman Krasnow can be made to: Friends of the Hallandale Beach Library, 300 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, Florida 33009, or Memorial Regional Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary, 3501 Johnson Street, Hollywood, Florida 33021
A Florida Chapel Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, 2:00 pm at the Levitt-Weinstein Beth David Memorial Chapel, 3201 N. 72 Avenue, Hollywood, Florida. Followed by Shiva until sundown at the home of Jason & Jamie Wyman, 2567 Montclaire Circle, (Weston Hills), Weston, Florida 33327
Then, a Massachusetts Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 10:00 am at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton Street., Sharon, Massachusetts followed by interment. Shiva immediately following at Beacons Restaurant 85 Providence Highway, East Walpole, Massachusetts 02032
