For my friend and colleague Gary DeLeon I offer the prayer of peace for his spirit. My remembrances for Gary will always be that he was a man of great character and integrity with an easy personality that made it difficult not to like him. I worked with Gary the last several years and because we were the same age, and had similar interests, we developed a close working relationship. It’s not often in this life that you have a friendship that leaves you as a better person for it. This is the case for Gary DeLeon. He left others as better persons for having known him. For Gary’s family I can only offer my sorrow for your loss and pray that the celebration of Gary’s life, and the remembrances that you share as a family, will somehow help to ease your the pain in this time of grievance. My thoughts go out to you.

My condolences to the DeLeon family. I have known Gary for a little over two years. Although we never met in person, speaking with him was as comfortable as speaking with one of my old high school buddies. He just had that warm personality that made you feel welcome. We shared a lot of the same views and had a similar sense of humor. It was always a pleasure to speak with him whether it was business, current events or just shooting the breeze. We spoke often of his growing up in Jamaica, living in South Florida and our families. He will be missed greatly. Rest in peace my friend, you will be fondly remembered.
