I am so saddened to read of Garys passing. Gary was 3 days older than me and we had our Bar Mitzvahs on the same day. We lived on the same floor of the apartment house, at opposite ends of the hall and a big sign by the elevator pointing to his reception one way and mine the other. We went to Boy Scout camp together and I remember going with his parents and sister to see him in Navy Boot Camp in Bainbridge Maryland.
I lost track of him when I went away to school but thought of him often. I made some attempts to find him but this is not what I expected.
My condolences to his family and to his sister Lynne, whom I remember fondly.
