Gary Lenard Smith was born on September 16, 1962 in Miami, Florida to the late Joan E. Smith and Robert L. Thompson. He was born and raised in the Overtown area. He was educated in Miami Dade County Public Schools. There are fun times and fond memories of him during his lifetime. He was known for his big smile every time you saw him. Gary received his wings in the early morning hour on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
