George Sanders' Obituary
SANDERSGeorge passed away October 11, 2012. He was almost a native of Miami Beach, George grew up here, saw it grow from a small town to a city. He had many lifelong friends, including his friends’ children, who referred to him as “Georgie Porgie”. Most recently he was a realtor and early on George ran the business for Vickie and Jake LaMotta. He was a natural-born leader, President of Temple Ner Tamid Young Adults in his youth and recently spent time enjoying movies, theater and museums. His hobbies were traveling, the beach, and eating out at his favorite Chinese restaurants. He was loved and appreciated by many and was known for his matter-of-fact wit and stories.
