Geraldine Berkowitz's Obituary
We celebrate the life of Geraldine Berkowitz, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and cherished friend, who passed away on 3/28/24.
Geraldine will long be remembered by those that knew her best as someone who rarely let life pass her by. Whether traveling, going to concerts or simply attending her morning pilates class, Geraldine didn’t believe in letting one moment of the day go to waste.
Known as an avid sports fan, Geraldine was always up for attending games for her beloved Dolphins, Panthers, Marlins and Heat. Win or lose, just being at the stadium or arena was a slice of happiness for her.
Few things in life were as important to Geraldine as spending time with her family and friends. She was always eager to go to her nephews' baseball games, or jump on a plane to New Mexico to hang out with her nieces. Each of her friends--and she had many--knew they could rely on Geraldine to be there for them, regardless of the situation.
Geraldine was preceeded in death by her father, Alfred Berkowitz. She is survived by her mother, Linda Berkowitz; sisters Elizabeth (Larry) Britt and Jenniffer (Ken) Weisberg; nieces Amanda and Caitlin Britt; nephews Sam and Jake Weisberg; uncle Jonathan (Shelley) Shamp; and aunt Robin (Michael) Lees. Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 31, 2024, at Levitt-Weinstein/ Beth David Chapel located 3201 N 72nd Avenue Hollywood, FL 33024.(954) 963-2400
The family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Jenniffer and Ken Weisberg, 3904 East Sailboat Drive, Cooper City, immediately after today's service, and then from 4-7p on both Monday and Tuesday.
