Geraldine (Gerri) Siegelman's Obituary
Geraldine (Gerri) Siegelman, age 92, passed away peacefully in her home on July 19, 2020. She was surrounded by loved ones and is onto her next great journey. She was born July 9, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA to Maurice and Beatrice Siegelman.
Gerri graduated from Franklin School of Science and Arts in Philadelphia with a degree in Medical Secretaryship and Medical Technology. She enjoyed an illustrious career managing a medical practice and was consistently recognized for her loyalty and devotion to the patients, doctors, nurses and staff.
Whether alone or with her beloved Arthur by her side she saw the world. Visiting Australia, China, Israel, Europe, Alaska and the Artic, to name a few. She did not let anything stop or deter her from what she wanted to do, see or achieve! Our family would love to sit by her side and look at the pictures of her travels and hear about her adventures.
She had a passion for muffins, sweets and coffee. She loved the beach, dogs and collecting people. She had the bark of a Great Dane and the heart of a Golden Retriever. She constantly gave of herself and her time through her volunteering efforts with Vitas.
She is survived by her best friend Helene Levy and her nephews and their wives Jeffrey and Marge Levy, Gary and Mary Levy and Alan and Vicky Levy. 8 grand nieces and nephews and two great grand nephews. Along with many friends, all of these she loved and touched deeply.
“To succeed in life you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funny bone.”
