Dr. Geroge Moises Safirstein's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Dr. George Moises Safirstein who died peacefully in his home. Father of Joel Safirstein, Ida Lang (Rabbi Jory Lang), and Sabrina Shifman (Cantor Aaron Shifman). Grandfather of Benjamin, Samuel, Sarah, Shaina, and Abigail. Dear brother of Rosy, (deceased), Regina (deceased), and Dr Adolfo Safirstein.
Dr. Safirstein was born on December 25, 1933. He was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. He was retired from practicing Internal Medicine in Miami Beach and North Miami Beach. He enjoyed traveling and was a long-time member of Beth Moshe Congregation in North Miami.
Services will be held in Florida on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 11:30 am at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Doral. Shiva will be held on Sunday at 10 am Beth Moshe Congregation.
