Giovanni Jose Latoni's Obituary
Giovanni Jose Latoni was a kind and gentle man. He was an educator who cared deeply about each and every single student in his classroom. He taught all levels from children to adults but his favorite students were the ones he taught in middle school. Many days you could find him after the bell rung sitting with his students and laughing about the events of the day or reviewing with a student who needed a little extra help. To know him was to love him. He was truly a benevolent soul who only did good in the world. He was a dedicated son, father and husband who loved his family with every fiber of his being. He is survived by his wife Jessica, sons Joseph, Jacob and Jonathan. He is also survived by his mother Roberta, siblings Gina and her husband Carlos, Dimitri and his wife Leticia and sister Julie. He was beloved by his mother and father-in-law Marta and Cyrus Mehrpouyan, his sisters and brothers-in-law Babba and Jackie Yesharim, Sharonne and Robert Rudman and Shoshanna and Scott Wagner. He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews whom he adored with all of his heart Alexandra Garateix, Anika, Asher, Riley and Levi Rudman, Emilia and Violet Wagner and Cyrus and Celine Yesharim. Giovanni was beloved by thousands of students he taught at Coral Gables Adult, Miami Springs Adult, Hialeah Gardens Adult, Miami springs middle school and Ruben Dario middle school. The lessons he taught us will stay with us forever. Chapel Service 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 18840 W. Dixie Hwy., North Miami Beach. Arrangements by Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel (305) 865-2353
