Glad Bloch Lipp's Obituary
Glad Bloch Lipp passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022 after an extended illness. This most beautiful woman, both inside and out, was born in Havana, Cuba on January 13th and moved as a child with her family to Miami Beach. There she graduated from Miami Beach High School and Miami Dade College. Dita is survived by her son, Arie Spirgel (Shara) of Miami Beach, daughter Gina Whitehurst (Mesa) of Boca Raton, and her loving husband Jules Lipp of Aventura.
She is also survived by her stepchildren Traci Hirsch (Zvi) of Boca Raton, Michael Lipp MD (Lauren) of Nashville, and A.J. Lipp (Nicky) of Aventura, as well as sisters Myrna Bader (Harold) and Linda Bloch. Dita cherished all her grandchildren: Hudson and Hope Whitehurst, Noah and Jordan Hirsch, Henry and Oliver Lipp, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Glad, who lived in Aventura for over 20 years, was a superbly talented painter and was loved by all who knew her.
Her funeral was held on March 13, 2022 and the private service was attended by family and close friends at Beth David Memorial Gardens in Hollywood (Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapels).
