Gordon Shuminer's Obituary
Shuminer, Gordon, 58 of Miami Beach, Florida passed away June 29, 2017. A former Miami Assistant Public Defender, brother of another former APD/Miami attorney Alan Shuminer , twin brother of Jeffrey Shuminer, and son to Bernard & the late Leila Shuminer. You may remember Gordon as a talented and creative litigator, and a maverick in DUI trials in Miami- during the 1980’s. He always supported the least fortunate among us and defended vigorously the rights of the underdog. His 58 years, his friends and family will fondly tell you, were a life filled with passion, creativity and love – he certainly lived his life out loud. Chapel service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Beth David/Levitt Weinstein Chapel, 3201 N. 72 Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
