I will always think of Greg as a happy, cheerful, concerned, master educator. More than that, he was our middle school master of mirth, planning 3 dances with a different themes every year, never once repeating a theme, and leading our annual trip to Disney or Islands of Adventure. He was also a perennial chaperone on Ricky Lambert’s San Francisco trip. He even once chaperoned my trip to Washington D.C., and loved seeing the panda bears. Greg was destined to be a great middle school teacher because he was a kid at heart, always looking for ways to implement new and creative ideas. All done with uncommon patience and a sense of empathy for all students, always striving to see things from their perspective. On a personal note, he and I loved discussing Jeopardy, a Sporcle game, or just an interesting geography tidbit or possible travel destination. Greg was passionate about geography and loved discussing Saroj’s travels, saying she was living his dream life. What could make a father happier than that?
