H. Allan Shore's Obituary
It is with regret we announce the passing of H. Allan Shore (Herbert Allan Shore) on October 31, 2017, in Miami, Florida.
Allan was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 12, 1948. He graduated, with honors, from Brooklyn College in 1968. That year he relocated to Miami, Florida to attend the University of Miami School of Law where he earned his law degree and a Master of Laws degree in Taxation. Allan loved the law and was an accomplished, well respected attorney, specializing in high net worth estate planning for more than three decades. He authored numerous articles on the subjects of general wealth management and tax planning for partnerships and charitable organizations until his retirement from the firm Bilzin Sumberg.
In addition to his distinguished legal career, Allan derived great joy from his philanthropic endeavors. He was a generous donor of his time and resources to many organizations including the United Way of Miami-Dade (Board of Directors), the Million Dollar Roundtable, the University of Miami (Estate and Gift Planning Advisory Board), and the UM/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (Board of Governors), of which he is also a Grand Founder and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Allan was an avid skier and enjoyed many ski vacations to Vail, Colorado with family and friends. He also loved sailing in Biscayne Bay on his boat, Bolero.
He is survived and will be missed by his soul mate, Ana Kardonski, his brother Mark Shore, his wife Lisa, his sister, Robyn Randzin, her husband Al, nieces Natalie Shore and Marissa Schneider and nephew Adam Randzin. Allan was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Leah Shore.
