Harold Rosenstein's Obituary
Rosenstein, Harold, of Surfside, FL passed away February 25, 2017. Beloved husband of Susan Rosenstein (nee Kranz), loving father of Jill Rosenstein Serfaty, Bruce (Emily) Rosenstein and Lisa Rosenstein Ginsburg (David Kekich); dear brother of the late Ethel Elson (Eddie) and Val Chevron; cherished grandfather of Mitchell, Joshua, Erica (James), Bonnie (Scott), Jason (Ashly), Daniel and David; adored great-grandfather of Addison Max and Mackenzie Reese. Harold was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1931. He attended University of Bridgeport and attended Boston University Law School. He was a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, founding member & president of B’Nai Torah in Trumbull, CT, was president of Temple Menorah in Miami Beach, FL, current member of the Shul of Bal Harbour, major supporter & good friend of Chabad of Midtown. Bar mitzvahed for the first time at age 70 at the Shul & continued observantly thereafter. In the building business in Connecticut for many years, Harold moved his family to South Florida in 1975. He was the president/owner of Tropical Glass & Construction Co. in Miami, FL. Harold was very involved in the Jewish community and an inspiration to many.
