Harold and Caryl were a team in every way. My family is forever grateful for their caring and passionate presence in our lives, both professional and personal. Both Harold and Caryl are extraordinary people and Harold will be fondly remembered. Steven, Arthur and Wendy have always walked in the path their parent's established by their kindness and generosity.

Caryl, Harold took such pride in you and your wonderful creations for all kinds of celebrations. I remember when you made a special floral presentation for one of my art shows and how Harold beamed at you with love for this special gift you had created. You were such soul mates and your love for each other radiated around you. What a feeling and generous man he was.

Wendy, Artie and Nancy, we grew up two short bridges apart and spent much of our childhoods riding the school bus together like all the Venetian Islands kids. No one, and people who have poured their hearts out here can testify to this, threw a better Halloween party than the Ungers. Harold, you and Carol were at the top of my mother's short list of favorite people in the world. Now you all can meet up again!
Wen I was a very insecure young teenage boy, the Unger family semi-adopted me. I was lucky to spend a great deal of time at their home on DiLido Island. Harold and Karol Unger were a major reason I survived "teenhood" and began to deal with who I was and where I could fit in the world. I found Harold to be warm and generous with both his time and his caring. The world has lost a really good person.
