Harriet Glick's Obituary
GLICK, Harriet passed away on December 23, 2018. She was 92. Beloved mother of Dr. Gary Glick (Dawn), wife of the late Benjamin Glick, sister of the late Norma Holtzman (Harry) and Arthur Botwinik and aunt to Joel Holtzman, Carol Botwinik, Lane Holtzman (Brooke), Norman Edelstein (Elena) and Ronna Edelstein. Harriet was born in New Jersey and came to Florida in 1954. She worked in the Dade County Public School system for nearly 40 years, as a teacher at Treasure Island Elementary and as the principal at Sable Palm and Biscayne Elementary Schools. She was a dedicated educator who left a legacy of compassion, devotion to her students and friendship with all who met her and worked with her. Harriet had many interests, including music, the arts, travel and literature. Her kindness and keen intellect, her quick sense of humor, and her love of life will endure in the memories of all who knew her. Special thanks to Anna Buonamia, who provided years of loving care during Harriet's final illness.
