Harriet Rose Schonholtz's Obituary
Schonholtz, Harriet (Cowan) 59, of Miami Beach, Florida and Colts Neck, New Jersey passed away on February 26, 2016. Her loving family will be forever inspired by the courage and grace she displayed over the many months that she battled cancer. All who met Harriet could not help but to be absorbed by her joie de vivre spirit and caring nature. She loved to share stories about children, friends, dogs, travel, concerts and fashion. Harriet is survived by her husband of 34 years Steve, her two sons Andrew and Jason, daughter-in-law Agata, granddaughter Mia, parents Ruth and Lewis Cowan, Joan and George Schonholtz, siblings Susan Cowan, Marsha and Tom Alperin, Debbie and Steven Cowan, Barbara Semsker, Margot Schonholtz and Jerry Pietroforte and many nieces and nephews and her loyal dog Cody. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Richard Semsker. Donations may be made in Harriet's memory to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Services and internment will take place at Levitt-Weinstein/Beth David Chapel, 3201 NW 72nd Ave. Hollywood, Florida at 11am Sunday, February 28th. Arrangements by Levitt Weinstein NMB (305) 932-2700.
