Harriet Sylvia Tuch's Obituary
Harriet Sylvia Tuch, 93, passed away on February 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam. Sam and Harriet Tuch were devotedly married for 49 years.
Harriet is survived by her sons – Kenneth, of Boca Raton, Florida; Robert (Gail), of Westerville, Ohio; and Michael (Mayra), of Cutler Bay, Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren – Lawrence (Tara), Andrew (Hiriana) and Ronald, and four great grandchildren – Madison, Samuel, Elijah and Hayden.
Harriet had a long and distinguished career as a law librarian, but made it clear that her family came first. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who spent much of her time doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Harriet was kind, generous, charitable and gracious. All those who were fortunate enough to know her could not help but to love and appreciate her relentless and hopeful spirit. She supported and gave much of her time in retirement to national and international charities to help those in need.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Levitt-Weinstein Eternal Light Funeral Service Center, 18840 W. Dixie Highway. North Miami Beach, FL 33180. Burial will be in Mount Sinai Memorial Park, 1125 NW 137th St., Miami, FL 33168 after the services. Arrangements by Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert (305) 538-6371
