Harvey J. Ehrlich's Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Harvey J. Ehrlich, 93 of Miami, Florida on July 22, 2024. He is survived by his wife Susan, whom he loved very much, brother Alan Ehrlich, daughter Lynn Smith (Andre), son Adam Ehrlich (Cathleen), daughter Lori Huberman, son Ethan Ehrlich (Carolina) and grandchildren Gillian, Talia, Michael, Sarah, Elie, Sebastian, Kamila. Harvey was preceded in death by his mother Anne Sklar Ehrlich, father Nathan Ehrlich, son Don Ehrlich, sister Elaine Myers (Milton), former spouses Jackie Friedman and Frances Ehrlich.
Harvey served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He graduated from University of Florida with a degree in architecture. For many years he had his own architecture business serving the South Florida area. Later, he went to work for Miami-Dade county as a county architect. After retiring from the county he still did consulting work well into his 80's. His passion for architecture and design is still present in Miami with projects like Rolling Green and Jade Winds condominiums.
Harvey loved to travel and had many worldly adventures. He loved watching sports, mostly the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat.
Harvey will be missed dearly. A private memorial service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery on July 29, 2024.
