Helen R. Miller's Obituary
MILLER, HELEN R., 86, of Hollywood, Florida passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the daughter of John and Helen Murphy and sister of Mary (Tom) Hannigan, Tom (Sharon) Murphy and John Murphy. In 1953, Helen was a member of the second class to be graduated from the Boston College School of Nursing. She was one of only 20 women who completed the 5 year nursing course.
She was the loving, devoted and very proud wife of Dr. Saul Miller (pre-deceased) for 48 years. She was also the very proud and loving mother of Dr. David (Jodi) Miller, Dr. Michael (Anna) Miller and Donna Miller (Bruce) Kassman.
She was an adoring and very proud grandmother to Chris (Rachel) Miller, Aaron Miller, Jessica Miller, Jennifer Miller, Sam Brooks, Simon Kassman, Jordan Miller and Cameron Miller and great-grandmother to Harper Miller.
Everyone who knew her said the same thing. She was a beautiful, kind, generous, classy woman. The family wishes to thank all those who loved her and cared for her.
Services will be held at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 N.W. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024 on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 12 noon.
