Helene, I first met you and Carl when Nick and I started going together. I remember I liked you right from the start and wished we could have lived closer together. You were just the nicest person and easy to know. I remember when I first visited your home in Brooklyn and you showed me your kitchen tile backsplash. You said you and the kids broke each and every piece and put them up. . . I was so impressed! You taught me to cook onions with my chicken! Tasted so good! I have wonderful memories of the four of us and our car trip to the southwestern states and our helicopter flight over Grand Canyon. I remember when the four of us went to the Hollywood cemetery and you and Nick had the best time looking at famous headstones! I have wonderful memories of you and Carl visiting us in California. You were a wonderful, beautiful person and I was so sad to hear of your illness; a disease no one deserves. I just loved you and will miss you. I know Carl and your children will miss you terribly.
