Henrietta Goodman's Obituary
Goodman, Henrietta, 75 of Aventura, FL passed away March 6, 2015. She was predeceased by her father Harry, mother Minnie and by her sister Alberta.
Henrietta was a wonderful and courageous woman and an accomplished entrepreneur. Raised in Miami Beach, she attended the University of Miami. She was the founder and President of Henrietta’s Personnel & Executive Search, and was later joined in the agency by her sister and mother. They were successful in their efforts to place numerous clients in enviable positions in the banking, law and import-export industries.
In 1991 Henrietta was honored by the Miami Herald as a “Pace Setter” for her high business standards and leadership – one of eight companies in the state of Florida chosen from companies nominated by fourteen state wide chambers of commerce. Henrietta wrote at the time, speaking of her success, that she had a “feel for what resources her clients had within”. In 1995 she was, once again honored as one of the one of five outstanding woman executives in Dade County by the National Association of Women Business Owner. The five women chosen were recognized for their “accomplishments in their own companies and as mentors to other businesswomen”.
Henrietta will be remembered affectionately by her family and many friends for her wonderful spirit and exuberant personality and her grace and determination. A graveside service will be held 11 am Sunday, March 8th at Mount Sinai Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to the Florida Grand Opera Association will be appreciated.
