Henry Michael Zibman's Obituary
Henry (Hank) Zibman (93) passed away peacefully, and surrounded by family on Sunday September 18, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 67 years, Renie. He is survived by his sons David Zibman and Michael Zibman, daughters-in-law Lora Zibman and Jamie Zibman, along with grand daughters Alyx Zibman and Jaclyn Zibman. He was a veteran of World War II, and a man of many talents/interests. He was a pilot, golfer, tennis player, boater, scuba diver, arm-chair football "coach", photographer and fan of Count Basie. He and Renie travelled the world in their later years and always made friends on their many trips. Hank was a renowned mechanical engineer, and his professional legacy includes the HVAC designs of the Broward County School System, the "upside-down" Hilton Hotel in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the Broward County Library in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood City Hall and The Miami Beach Theatre of the Performing Arts to name just a few. Hank was known for his quick wit and sharp mind.
