Hyman Louis Posner's Obituary
Hyman Louis Posner (a.k.a. George Posner) of Aventura, FL, died peacefully on June 2, 2021. He was 102 years old. Hyman was a business owner, entrepreneur and stand-up comedian. He was born May 14, 1919 in Newark, NJ, son of Jacob and Sarah Posner of Minsk, Belarus. He lived in Elizabeth NJ, Teaneck NJ, Mount Laurel NJ and North Miami Beach, FL. He was an avid bowler and golfer, having three holes-in-one to his credit. Hyman was a proud member of the Shriners, Masons, Elks Club, and Jewish War Veterans. He was predeceased by Irene, his loving wife of almost 70 years; and leaves his brother David; son Jerry and daughter-in-law Lynne; daughter Susan and son-in-law Richard; granddaughter Alison and grandson-in-law Allan. His good humor and generous heart will be missed by all who knew him. The family requests donations can be made to The Michael J.
