Dear Sue and Warren,
We were so saddened when you told us about Ian's passing. He was so brave and courageous, living and so often thriving with this terrible condition he was forced to endure through no fault of his own. We still remember seeing him as a child back at University School at a time when he was able to move around freely in his scooter. But even after his condition worsened, through personality and fortitude of will, Ian was still able to soar. Hopefully now he is in a better place. He may be gone, but certainly his accomplishments will live on. To make that a certainty, we really believe his brother Matt, though an amazing historic fiction author, should write his biography. Surely he would do Ian's life justice, for the world should know who he was.
All our best hope and wishes during this difficult time for you Sue, Warren and the rest of your family.
With our love,
Sally and Larry Leichter
