Ira Elegant's Obituary
ELEGANT, IRA passed away on July 27, 2021. Ira was predeceased by Sharon (Justin and Adam’s mother) who died in 2004. He is survived by his wife Roni, sons Justin (Jennifer) and Adam (Rebecca) and 5 grandchildren (Luke, Hudson, Samantha, Alice and Jacob). Ira was devoted to his family and extremely loyal to his friends, many from his childhood. Ira was an incredibly gifted lawyer, with an unparalleled reputation for honesty, diligence and skill. For decades, he mentored some of the outstanding lawyers in our community as they developed their practices. Ira was a member of the University of Miami Society of Founders and active in many charities throughout the country. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Funeral services will be at Temple Beth Sholom, 4144 Chase Ave., Miami Beach, Florida, on Friday, July 30, 2021 at noon, with private interment to follow at Mt. Nebo Miami Cemetery.
