I am truly saddened, having learned a short while ago of the passing of Dr. Iris Drelich whom I never met in person but with whom I communicated via email on a consistent basis. Iris and I had to communicate on pharmaceutical projects, which I handled as the Sr. Contracting Officer who coordinates some of these procurements for Jackson Health System. She was consistently kind/thankful and sweet-spirited in her email messages. A huge regret is that I never had the pleasure/honor of meeting her in person. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family, relatives and friends. She will remain in my heart and mind as one of the sweetest individuals I have encountered.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Iris. Iris was our friend and Director of Pharmacy at Jackson North Medical Center. She made our work life a pleasure every day. She was a kind, compassionate, and loving person. She really cared about us and our lives. She was the type of person who really engaged in conversation and remembered the important things that she would ask and recall about each person here. They say what you remember about people is how you treat them. She was kind to all and treated everyone as equal. I will miss her dearly as will all of the pharmacy. She was a blessing in my life and in others.
