Iris Bierstein's Obituary
Iris Ellen Bierstein, age 69, of North Miami Beach, Florida, passed away suddenly on February 23, 2019. Born in Queens, NY, she lived in New York, California and Hawaii before moving to North Miami Beach, FL. She was deeply passionate about movies, art, sports, music, animals, photography and magazines. An incredibly selfless, loving and compassionate being who lived for her children and grandchildren, she was a bright light in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. She is survived by the love of her family: children Malachi Bierstein (Emma Curran), Malika Bierstein (Eric Schmidt), and Chandra Berriel (Daniel Berriel); grandchildren Kaia, Simone, Gabriel, Elodie, Talia and Julian; ex-husband Lenny Bierstein and her beloved furry companion, Bacci. Iris was predeceased by her son Benjamin Bierstein.
