Dr. Isaac Egozi's Obituary
EGOZI
Dr. Isaac, a former Miami-Dade surgeon, who maintained a private medical practice for 35 years and was a practicing physician for over 40 years, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged at age 81. Dr. Egozi played an integral part in the eradication of cancer during his career and was a former President of the Board of Trustees of Temple Moses in Miami Beach. Isaac and his wife of 53 years, Sarah, immigrated to the United State from Fidel Castro’s Cuba in 1963, where after being a surgeon in Cuba, he re-enrolled in medical school and became certified with the American College of Surgeons. Besides his wife Sarah, Dr. Egozi is survived by four brothers, David, Jose, Into and Moises Egozi. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be sent to Temple Moses. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. TODAY, July 3rd at Temple Moses, 1200 Normandy Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33141
