My father was a special man. He had so much integrity, always spoke the truth and from his heart, where I learned to speak my mind - honestly. A man who shared his wisdom with me. Especially loved those days when he reviewed the most current training needs he also taught soldiers at USAR (United States Army Reserve) School. One of my favorite memories was learning map reading (at 10 yrs of age) knowing my place in the world, always stuck with me, evolving into my love for this world and knowing I would never get lost (way before digital maps:) !!
His love of family, work and life in general, while joking along the way reminding us all to enjoy life as it comes! I will miss him tremendously but, knowing he lived his life and passed - all as he wanted - will bring me peace for all of my days!!
