Jacov Folic's Obituary
Jacov "Jack" Folic passed away on February 9, 2014. Born in Romania he immigrated to Israel where he fought proudly in the Israeli Navy. He was the first in his family to come to the US where he met his late wife Joann, with whom he shared 40 years together. They moved from New Jersey to south Florida in the mid 70's where Jack became a pioneer in the marine industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Ester, his sister Carola Harel and his wife Joann. He leaves behind his daughters Beth and Deena and son David, his brother and sister in law Joseph and Vera Folic to cherish his beloved memory. the light of his life was his two grandchildren, Shoshana and Ryan. Jack was very lucky to find a second soulmate in Miriam Vinicur. He will be greatly missed for his humor and larger than life presence by many family and friends. As he always said "I did it MY WAY"!
