Jacqueline Karl's Obituary
November 28, 2023, Jacqueline "Jackie" Karl (Portnoy) passed away peacefully after complications due to a Stroke.
Jackie was born in Bronx, NY to Joseph & Bessie Portnoy. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Julian Portnoy, Ruben Portnoy & stepbrother Joey Strajcher. Jackie is survived by her children, Debra White (Benjamin), Brian Karl (Suzanne), Paul Karl, Half Sister Rebecca Rogers, Step Siblings Gail Thomas, Pauline Horen. Grandchildren Tara Priest (Michael), Philip Karl (Francesca), William Karl, Katina Zinsmeyer (Tyler), Joey Karl, 3 Great Grandchildren, Miles, Kennedy & Athena, and many Nieces & Nephews.
Jackie was a Firecracker and had a love for Fashion, especially Animal Print! She always wanted to look her best, in high heels and teased red hair! Jackie moved to Florida in the 1980's and it quickly became her home. She took up a career in Beauty and became a Nail Technician. Jackie moved to Georgia in 2018, where she could be closer to family and have the help, she needed as she got older. Jackie was a beloved Mother & Grandmother and will always be remembered for her Spunky Attitude and Good Looks. We will miss you, Mama Jackie!
