Jacques Andre Dastinot's Obituary
Jacques Andre Dastinot was born on November 29, 1957, in Grande Saline, Haiti to the Late Marie Andree’ Adolphe; and Cene Dastinot. Everyone knew him as “Jacko”. Jacques was one of 6 children born to his parents. Jacques migrated to the United States in 1991 at the age of 34 looking for a better life for his family. While in the US Jacko worked Several different jobs to help his late sister-in-law Roselene Dastinot Care for her Children; his Niece's, Alexandra (Sandra), Florence (Fofo), his nephew Ronny, and his bonus nephew the Late Jimmy Charlot.
Jacko loved his family he did everything he could to provide a better life for his loved ones in Haiti. Furthermore, he loved many other things such as, basketball; his favorite team was the Lakers, he loved kompa music, and most of all a good laugh. To know "Jacko" was to love him even when he was serious, he would always find a way to crack a good joke having his friends laugh. On December 11, 2023, Jack said his last Goodbye, and he was in good spirts. On December 20, 2023, at 10:12 a.m. God saw it fit for him to come home. Jacques is survived by: His beloved life partner: Marguerita Foreste. His Children: Roseline Dastinot, Roodeline Dastinot, Jacquito Dastinot and Marie Andre’e Dastinot His 5 Brothers: The late Murat Andre’e Dastinot, Sergot Dastinot, Louis Dastinot, Merland Dastiont and Carmile Garicher
His 1 Sister: the late Marie-Therese Dastinot His Seven Grand Children: Erline Guerrier, Rosemanette Guerrier, Roselie Guerrier, Roodeley Desir, Alberto Dastinot, Stanley Cene Junior Dastinot and Dario Dastinot. His Great-nephew : Tiwan Cherichel, Vernon Jordan Jr. His great Niece: Patience Cassy, Sarah Jordan, and the late Sharon Jordan. He is also survived by twenty-four nieces and nephews. Jacques Andre Dastinot will be forever in our memories and in our hearts.
