Bob Huffman
It has been almost two years since we lost our Uncle. Jim was my father Jack’s only Brother and he was a constant presence in our formative years, spending time with my brothers and I playing board games, taking us on trips to see our relatives in Michigan, inviting us to spend the weekend with him in Chicago riding along on the CTA bus he was driving (I’m certain this had a profound influence on me when choosing transportation planning as a career), and assisting me in the design and implementation of a new business. Jim was very intelligent, outspoken 😊, conversant on any topic especially transit, successful in the drafting business, was relentless in researching the family lineage, but will be most remembered for always maintaining connections with his family and friends and being present in their lives to the end! Jim has left a legacy that will be long remembered. He has earned eternal rest. In aeternum, patrue, ave atque vale!
