Janet Petrie's Obituary
Janet Marcus Luks Petrie, born on June 10, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on December 18, 2024. She is survived by her Partner, Douglas Mcowen. She was a loving Mother of Stuart (Jill) Luks, Richard (Jill) Luks, and Amy (Gordon) Behr, Grandmother of Stacey (Eric) Martin, Jenna Luks, Kevin (Alexandra) Luks, and Adam (Jeiran) Luks, Great Grandmother of Blake, Kylie, and Levi. Janet will be greatly missed by all and her memory will be cherished forever.
Chapel Service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
Shiva will be immediately following the interment at Rich and Jill’s house.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Janet’s memory.
