With the utmost respect I want to express my deepest condolences to Jason Michael Streiner's family. As the sole-surviving child to my parents (of my beloved departed brother, Jon Michael) and our foundation we want to express our sincerest sympathies. My newlywed daughter, Michele Piccolo, who I named in memory of my brother, always very much adored Jason Michael and she will now forever think of Jason too when referencing her name. She particularly was fond of the memories of joining Jason on those 'treasure hunts' to find those extraordinary collectibles that only Jason had the innate knowledge to discover. As he was widely known as an expert collector, we also were honored to see him perform as an artist, a sportscaster, a mathematician, and a lawyer, to name a few; as it was always apparent to us that Jason had a wide array of natural talents that he could easily explore upon his will.
All in all, Jason conveyed such a beautiful spirit to all those he encountered, thus, his passing will be felt for an eternity. Unfortunately for me, I did not get a real chance to know who were closest to him to the best extent, although I am very grateful to them. (To anyone who may have not known this...since the very day I first met Jason he has continued to remain very close to my heart; I just wish we could have met each other at a different point in our lives.) Jason educated me a lot and I grew much as a result. And, I do hope one day we will reunite but in tranquility as I know Jason is definitely at peace now looking upon his loving family who he has always held so close to his heart and soul. Also, I wish and hope that Jason's loved ones find peace that brings you comfort, the courage to face the days ahead, and all the loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
(One of my many special recollections is of one of Jason's favorite songs, "Perfect Day" - especially the chorus - by Lou Reed that featured in 1972, which was probably meant for the day Jason was born.)
