I am heartbroken today. Jay was one of the most exraordinary people I have ever known. His infectious smile and gift for laughter could bring out the best in people. He would always make people laugh and he was able to laugh at himself. I don't think you'll ever find anyone who has a bad word to say about Jay Smith. For me personally, it is impossible to think of my days at camp and beyond without thinking of Jay. The first day I met Jay I felt like I had known him all my life.
