Kind and considerate are the two words I think of when thinking of Jerry. Will always cherish the memories of our shared running experiences. Jerry truly had the gift of enriching the lives of all who were blessed to know him and in whose lives he will live on.
Mom Lois - Viren and Carlyn here. Really sorry to hear about Jerry. Just got off the phone with Laurie and we shared memories of Jerry. I hope that soon, when you think of him, you'll have a smile on your face for all the great time you had together.
Lots of hugs from Carlyn and me.
Viren
Dear Lois,
One of our favorite memories is how Jerry and Marty used to see who could get up the earliest in the morning to put the newspaper at their door before the other. Jerry was a loving, giving, kind man with a big heart. He always had a smile on his face and kind words for everyone. All of his family and friends have many happy memories to hold on to and carry with them every day. Our thoughts are with you, your family and all your friends. We were all very lucky to have been a part of his life.
Love,
Susan and Bob Van Meter
I will miss you, my dear friend, my Jerrala. We will take care of your dear Loey, until we all meet again. Love you, your Samala
My sincere condolences to Dana, Craig, Kyle, Liana and the rest of the Konhauzer family and his beloved Lois. May his memory be a blessing.
Kindly,
Heidi & Eric Puritt
Though I haven't seen Jerry in many years, I will never forget him. He was a mentor to me in my early days of running and always SO encouraging. We ran together through most of my second marathon, and every Thanksgiving I would drive down to Hollywood to join his group for a long run, followed by snacks at his home. He was the nicest nicest man and someone I will never forget.
LOVED SO MUCH YOU COMING TO THE AIRPORT AND PICKING ME UP! WE LAUGHED AND HAD GREAT CONVERSATIONS. ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND YOU WERE DEFINITELY "ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS". LOVE YOU JERRY
To Lois and the entire Raticoff family,
Today is a very sad day and a loss to all who were able to share in the life of a wonderful man.
Jerry was always our hero and most important are friend.
His life was a marathon and he filled the entire " race of life" with hard work, hard play, and a complete love for his family and friends.
We will miss you but never forget you and what you stood for.
Love,
Sandra and Jeff Liss
