Mrs. Jewel Bloom's Obituary
BLOOM
Jewel Landau of Miami Beach, Florida died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 12, 2013, at the age of 84. Devoted wife to her husband of 65 years, Stanley, who was by her side caring for her every day of her life. Loving mother to her children, Barbara Bloom, David Bloom and Janet Horwitz (Sanford). Cherished baby sister to Bernice Ettner (Milton dec'd) and Sheldon Landau (dec'd). Known to her grandchildren, Michelle, Zachary and Ashleigh as MomMom. Jewel was a presence; loving and caring, she had an aura about her. Jewel's smile would light up any room she entered. She never said an unkind word about anyone. Whoever crossed her path thought of her as their good friend, Mom or MomMom. Jewel had many favorite activities but none came close to her love for playing and watching tennis. Her presence will surely be missed; however, never to be forgotten. The family has asked donations be made in Jewel’s memory to the American Cancer Society. Services are Sunday, December 15 at 9:00 a.m. at Temple Beth Sholom, 4144 Chase Avenue, Miami Beach, FL.
