Joan Baron Cohen's Obituary
COHEN, Joan Baron, 62 passed away on February 1, 2016 after a gallant and decades long struggle with Scleroderma. She is survived by her mother Rae Baron, husband Larry Cohen, daughter Sara, son-in-law Adam Shelton and first grandson Isaiah.
Joanie grew up in Middle Village, Queens, New York and worked at U.S. Shoe Company for many years. Joanie, Larry and their daughter moved to South Florida in 1996, where they currently reside.
Joanie will always be remembered by her friends, family and all who met her as a beautiful spirited women who loved life fully, laughed deeply and often, was always positive, and was fiercely loyal to those who would proudly claim to be her friend.
Chapel Service Wednesday, February 3rd at 12:00 noon at the Levitt-Weinstein Chapel at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 NW 72nd Ave, Hollywood.
