Joan Ruth Stolove's Obituary
Joan Ruth Stolove, 88, passed away on November 8, 2021. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Stolove (Jaime Parra), Jodi Stolove Bartlett (Lawrence Bartlett), granddaughter Amber Bartlett, and niece, Vivian Adler. She was married to prominent Hollywood Florida physician, Dr. Sender Stolove, for 50 years before his passing in 2004. After raising her children, Joan became a Medical Technologist. As a physician’s wife, Joan found labs, testing, and diagnostics fascinating. After a decade long career in this field, she switched gears, followed her passion, and with her husband by her side, founded Downtown Travel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Later in life, she continued her successful travel career at Landmark Travel, also in Fort Lauderdale, planning elegant and adventurous trips for multitudes of happy clientele. She traveled extensively each year, and visited most of the world during her lifetime. The family requests that contributions in Joan’s memory be made to any charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd at 2 pm, at Temple Beth El Memorial Gardens Cemetery 4900 Griffin Road Davie, FL 33314
