Jonathan Kenneth Oka's Obituary
OKA, Jonathan Kenneth, 63. Born in Miami Beach, Florida. Beloved son of the late Gertrude and Kenneth Oka, the former Mayor of Miami Beach. A graduate of Eaglebrook School where he received the Academic Cup. He continued his education at The Loomis School and graduated from L'Ecole Internationale de Geneve with a Baccalaureate in French. He attended the Sorbonne University in Paris. Jonathan struggled with mental health issues most of his adult life and he was always surrounded by a loving family. He is survived by his three sisters, Basha Oka Botnick (Daniel), Michele Oka Doner (Frederick) and Stephanie Oka Freed (Richard Stollenwerck) and his three nephews. Private family services were held.
