Jose Esteban Fernandez's Obituary
Jose Esteban Fernandez loved so many aspects of his life. But the love he had for his wife, Rosalyn, eclipsed them all. He carried that love in his heart for years after her passing, waiting to rejoin her in Heaven. Jose also loved his family very much. He is survived by his sister, Anna; his Grandson, Erik and Erik’s wife, Tamy; Granddaughter, Stacy; his stepdaughter, Arlene; and son-in-law, Robert. Jose’s other love—was his Harley Davidson, which he rode across South Florida until he was 88 years old!
Jose passed away on August 7, 2024. Originally born in Havana, Cuba on August 18, 1929. Jose made his way from Havana to New Jersey, and then New York. He finally settled in Miami Beach, where he resided in and contributed to his community for over 60 years. Jose Fernandez was a very special man—a most spectacular husband, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Cryptside Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Mount Nebo Miami Memorial Gardens, 5505 NW 3rd Street, Miami, Florida 33126. Arrangements by Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel (305) 932-2700
