Joyce Kramer's Obituary
Joyce L. Kramer of Aventura, FL and West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
Joyce was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 14, 1928 to Irving and Rose Lichtenstein. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph D. Kramer and her loving sister Gloria Shapiro.
Joyce earned a Bachelor's in Education from the University of Miami and later earned a Master's in Early Childhood Education. A member of ADK teachers' sorority, her passion and commitment to education was evidenced by teaching first grade and kindergarten for 37 years at Little River Elementary, Greynolds Park Elementary and Ojus Elementary.
Joyce is survived by her two children Charles Kramer (Judy) and Ellen K. Ellison (Marc). She was a loving grandmother to Sarah, Jeffrey, Carrie, Jason and Robert, and a loving great grandmother to Norah. Joyce is also survived her beloved brother Donald Lichtenstein (Shirley).
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am Sunday, October 8 at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel 7500 N. State Road Seven Coconut Creek, FL 33073, followed by interment at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park in Miami. Shiva will be private.
