Judith Binder's Obituary
Judith Binder 70, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 with Family by her side. Judy was born in Plymouth, MA but grew up in South Florida. She graduated from Emerson College and became a High School English teacher spending the majority of her career at Miami High. She used her passion for literature, poetry and the arts to help bring out the creative side of her students. Judy also volunteered her time at local museums and libraries.
Judy had an endless capacity for love. She loved all things beautiful and mythical. Above all, she loved her family passionately. Her family tree was very large, but she had a special place in her heart for every family member.
Judy is survived by her brother Warren and his wife Lori, her nieces and nephews and their spouses Neil, Rachel, Marjorie, Chris, Adam, Sunny, Stephanie, Ben and Matt, her grandnieces and nephews Eli, Julia, Daniel, Dylan, Jaclyn, Zachary and Alex, her cherished Aunt Goldie and Uncle Sam and all of her many loving cousins. She also leaves behind her cat and companion Adorabella.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 2, 2014 at 1:00PM on Sunday, at Levitt Weinstein, 7500N State Road 7, Coconut Creek, FL 33073. Interment to follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Boynton Beach, FL.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Florida Humane Society, 3870 North Powerline Rd., Pompano Beach, FL 33073.
