Judith M. Wahnon's Obituary
Judith M. Wahnon, age 75 of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018, peacefully with her family by her side. She was born to the late Jonas and Alice Wahnon on May 6, 1943.
A loving mother of two daughters, Ana Paula Wahnon Marques Meehan and Ana Carolina Cortes. She is survived by her dear brother, Aguinaldo Wahnon. Cherished grandmother of four, Samantha, Jordan, Derek, and Gabrielle. A loving Aunt and beloved friend to many.
Judith was born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde. She graduated from Pitzer College, located in California earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Her successful business ventures include, business owner, real estate agent, and adult school educator. She had a love for life, was very active in her community and a had a fulfilling social life surrounding herself with amazing friends who she considered family. She was passionate about different cultures, the arts, interior decorating, and gardening. Her exuberant personality drew people near and allowed an intimate connection to her strong, kind, and loving spirit.
Judith requested a Jewish burial and funeral not far from her home. The family has selected Beth David Memorial Gardens and Chapels, located at 3201 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024. Services will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Her family wishes to thank those who have offered their prayers, love, and support during this time.
