Julia Borenstein's Obituary
Julia Borenstein passed away June 12, 2018 after a long journey with Alzheimer's. She was born in Poland on July 24, 1927, then migrated to Cuba with her family at six months of age and finally settled in New York in 1961. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She dedicated her life to her family. She was a women ahead of her time which led to great success in her business career. Julia worked alongside her beloved husband Jaime while raising two daughters. She greatly enjoyed traveling and playing cards. She is survived by her two daughters Ana (Jake) Cohen & Ida (Joel) Marks, grandchildren Jackie, Bryan, Lauren (Jay) & Erica (Jason), great-grandchildren Coby, Dean & Julia, her brother Johnny (Lidia) Schwartzbaum, her niece Sara and nephews Steven, Robert & Gary. She will be greatly missed.
