Julia Elias Passos' Obituary
Julia “Juju” Elias Passos, 14, of Deerfield Beach was called to heaven on January 14, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Her indomitable spirit inspired the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
A former student of Deerfield Middle and Quiet Waters Elementary, Julia is survived by her devoted parents Alexandra and Lacy Passos, loving older sister Jasmyn; grandmothers Maridalva Casseb-Elias and Almerita Alves-Batista; aunts and uncles: Ana-Paula, Frank, Romina (godmother), Millard (godfather), Erika, Kurt, and Wagner; and cousins: Jenevah, Randy, Avery, Jaymee, Alek, Joshua, Zachary, Diego and Lucas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 6-9 pm at Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 7500 N. State Road 7, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073. (954) 427-6500. The Wake service will begin at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19th at 9:30 am at St. Ambroise Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach.
